Book Talk
Tuesday, 12/19, 12:30 pm and 6:30 pm
An informal monthly discussion group for book lovers. In October we'll
discuss Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. A copy of the monthly book may be picked
up at the circulation desk. The January, 2009 discussion book, Saving
Fish From Drowning by Amy Tan, will be available at the December discussions.

Men's Coffee Chat
Wednesday, 12/3 and 12/17, 10:30-noon
Come share your life stories or listen to others as you enjoy your morning
coffee. Men of all ages are welcome. No registration required.

Rookie Readers
Thursday, 12/11, 4:00-5:00 pm
This is a monthly book club especially for newly independent readers.
Children should be in Grades K-2 and able to read on their own. Each
meeting includes a book discussion, snack, read-aloud, and an activity related
to the theme of the day. Children should bring a holiday book to this
meeting.

Knitting/Crochet/Needlework Club
Thursday, 12/11, 6:30 pm and Wednesday, 12/24, 10:30 am
Bring your current project and enjoy the camaraderie of others. Beginner
knitters are welcome. No registration is required. Meets the second
Thursday evening and the fourth Wednesday morning of every month year round.

Holiday Sing-A-Long
Wednesday, 12/17, 6:30-8:00 pm
Bring the whole family to this festive event! Enjoy some Christmas
cookies, create thumbprint ornaments for your tree, and join in a carol
sing-a-long lead by students from Bow High School.
