What is the Baker Free Library Teen Advisory Board?
 
The BFL TAB helps the library staff create teen programs and services, helps select and evaluate teen materials, contributes to the gallery space, and assists the Friends of the Library with the book sale. TAB members are liaisons between BFL and Bow High School and Bow Memorial School. TAB members also play a vital role in developing a vision for future "teen space(s)" in the library.
 
Who can join the BFL TAB?
 
Bow students in grades 7 to 12 are eligible to become board members.
 
How often does the board meet?
 
The board usually meets twice a month. Visit the calendar page on the BFL website for dates and times.
 
Why would I want to join?
  • Being a TAB member gives young adults the opportunity to contribute to their community.
  • Time spent at TAB meetings qualify for the Community Service Hours requirement at Bow High School.
  • It is fun, and always involves food!
How do I become a BFL TAB member?
 
Fill out and return a TAB application form to
the Baker Free Library.
