In September 2008, the Library's Board of Trustees and Library Director participated in a half-day retreat led by a trained facilitator to discuss creating a new long range plan for the Baker Free Library.  In October 2008 another half-day facilitated retreat was held with library staff; and in April 2009 the Library held three public focus groups to get more feedback from Bow residents about the future of library services, materials, and space.
