Canned Food Drive
through Monday 8/9
Summer Reading Program participants are encouraged to donate canned goods this summer to receive prizes (grades K-5) or points (grades 6-12).  Prizes and points will be awarded every time a donation is brought to the library. Our local food pantries are in need, so let's help them out!  Our donations will be given to the Friendly Kitchen in Concord.
Summer Storytime
Tuesdays June 29 - August 17 at 11 a.m.
This 30 to 40 minute program consists of a combination of stories, fingerplays, songs, and movement activities appropriate for preschoolers. Children should be accompanied by an adult.  Drop-in attendance is welcome!
Pajama Storytime
Wednesday 6/30, 7/14, 7/28, and 8/11 at 7 p.m.
Children can wear their favorite pajamas and join us for bedtime stories! This 30-40 minute program is appropriate for youngsters up to age six, accompanied by an adult.
Brown Bag Lunches, Grades K-2
Thursdays 7/1, 7/15, 7/29, and 8/12 at 12 noon
Meeting alternate weeks, children bring their own lunch and discuss what they are currently reading with the group.  In addition, they participate in a food-related activity or craft.  Registration required.

Thursdays 7/8, 7/22, 8/5, & 8/19 at 12 noon

Summer Reading Program Ice Cream Party
Friday, August 20, 4 p.m.
All participants in the Summer Reading Program (K-12) and their families are invited to celebrate the reading they have done this summer! Make your own ice cream sundae and be eligible for door prizes.
Registration for Early Fall Children's Programs
Starts Tuesday, September 7th

Library card holders may register children for the Early Fall sessions of Active Listeners, Family Storytime, Rookie Readers and Grades 3 & 4 Book Club starting on Tuesday, September 7th. Patrons should bring their library card AND a photo ID to the library to complete the process.
