Registration For Spring Children's Programs
February 22nd - March 8th

Anyone interested in participating in the Spring Sessions of Active Listeners, Family Storytime, Rookie Readers,or Super Saturdays should register during theses dates.  If you are new to the programs, register in person at the Circulation desk with your Baker Free Library card and photo ID.  If you have participated in the Fall or Winter sessions, you can just let us know that you plan to continue in the Spring.


Digital Aliens
Thursday, February 25th, 11:am - Noon
A vacation craft event for children in Grades 2 - 4.  We will creating silly alien fingerpuppets from felt, rubber bands, and sequins.
Family Storytime (3/9 - 4/23)
Tuesdays at 10:30am OR Fridays at 4:00pm
This 45-minute program is for children up to age 6 with an adult.  It is perfect for families with several children of different ages.  Activities include stories, songs, fingerplays, creative movement, and simple crafts.
Active Listeners (3/11 - 4/22)
Thursdays at 10:30am
This 30-minute interactive program is for children under age 3 with an adult.  Activies include simple fingerplays, elementary flannel boards, very short books, and easy movement activities.
Rookie Readers
Thursdays, March 11 & 25 AND April 8 & 22, 4-5pm
This bi-monthly book club is designed for newly independent readers.  Children should be in Grades K-2 and able to read on their own.  Each program includes a book discussion, snack, read-aloud, and an activity related to the theme of the day.
March 11th: Read a book by Dr. Seuss
March 25: Reader's Choice - read any book 
April 8: Read a book of poems
April 22: Reader's Choice - read any book

Super Saturdays
Saturday, February 20th, March 20th AND Saturday, April 17th, 11am - Noon
Super Saturdays are monthly family story/craft events geared for children age 5 and up with a parent.
February 20th: Presidential Pinwheels
March 20th: Go Fly a Kite!
April 17th: Really Raining!
