Library 100-Year Anniversary Sun Catchers
To commemorate the Library's 100th Anniversary this year, we have commissioned hand-made pressed glass medallions designed by Old Hancock Glassworks in Antrim, NH.
The medallions, which come in green or blue recycled glass, feature the 1914 South Street entrance to the Library. There is a glass loop at the top of each for hanging. These have been made in limited quantities and will only be sold through December 2014. Cost is $10 each, Proceeds from the sales funded the Library's 100th Anniversary Community Event on Saturday October 18th, and the remaining profits will be put towards the Lower Level Renovation fundraising effort. For more information, call 224-7113 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Come Laugh with Jason Tardy at BHS
Fundraising event for the Lower Level on Friday 11/7
To support the ongoing fundraising efforts to complete the Library's Lower Level Renovation Project, Jason Tardy will be performing his high energy comedy act at the Bow High School Auditorium on Friday, November 7th at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 a seat or $15 per family. All proceeds will go directly to the Lower Level Renovation Fund.
Jason Tardy's show is a heady mix of high-energy juggling, balancing, contortion, and crazy offbeat comedy. His fearlessness, outrageous risk-taking, and constant off-kilter banter makes this show a must for audiences of all ages. He has 20 years of experience in the performing arts that has brought him all over the US and abroad. Some highlights include Disney Cruise Ships, the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, the Golden Phoenix Casino, and the White House in Washington, DC (three times!).
