Submit Summer Reading Slips Online!
Mid-June - Mid-August 2014
Did you know that those in grades 5-12 and adults can now submit their summer reading slips online? That's right - you can participate in the library's Summer Reading Program even if you're away from Bow!
Just go to tinyurl.com/BFLSRPSlip and fill out the GoogleDocs form every week for all the audiobooks you've listened to or books you've read! We'll be seeing how this method of SRP participation works throughout the summer.
Library 100-Year Anniversary Sun Catchers
To commemorate the Library's 100th Anniversary this year, we have commissioned hand-made pressed glass medallions designed by Old Hancock Glassworks in Antrim, NH. The medallions, which come in green or blue recycled glass, feature the 1914 South Street entrance to the Library. There is a glass loop at the top of each for hanging. These have been made in limited quantities and will only be sold through December 2014. Cost is $10 each, and they will be available for purchase starting at the Summer Reading Kick-Off event on Friday 6/20. Proceeds from the sales will fund the Library's 100th Anniversary Community Event on Saturday October 18th. For more information, call 224-7113 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are you going out of town?
If you're concerned about not being available to pick up your reserved items, you can defer your reserves until you get back. Log in to your account to manage your reserved items or call the library at 224-7113.
